WHAT IS THE MOROCCAN AMERICAN BUSINESS COUNCIL,  Ltd.

The Moroccan American Business Council is an non-profit foundation operated by American and Moroccan professionals. It is a results-oriented and transaction focused institution.


M.A.B.C. WAS FORMED FOR THE FOLLOWING OBJECTIVES

1- To promote the interest of Moroccans residing in the US and Americans residing in Morocco through artistic, civic and educational programs.

2-To disseminate Moroccan culture through social activities and events, creating a better understanding of the complexity of the Moroccan society.

3-To promote investments and trade between the United States and the Kingdom of Morocco through events ranging from trade missions to official visits,   creating new business opportunities and networking.

4-To enhance the image of the Kingdom of Morocco as a country in the midst of change. Indeed Morocco is facing new challenges in its social, educational, political and economic environments.

5-To maintain the historicals ties and friendship between Morocco and the United States which started when Morocco was the first to recognize the independence of the US in 1777 and offered the American Legion its first official building outside the US in Tangiers in 1821. Also, Morocco and the United States signed a 50 year Treaty of Peace and friendship in 1786 and, during the past 200 years maintained a relationship based on mutual respect.

In its efforts to promote and preserve this friendship, MABC Ltd. will bring Moroccans and US friends together through colloquia, seminars, workshops, trade missions and exchange programs.
